Welcome to Beachcomber Holiday Units, where we believe that everyone deserves to have a great holiday experience. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, including those with accessibility needs. We understand that accessibility is an important issue, and we have taken several measures to make our property as accessible as possible. While we may not be able to accommodate every individual's needs, we are committed to doing our best to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone.

At Beachcomber, we welcome guests of all abilities, and we strive to ensure that everyone feels at home during their stay with us. We understand that accessibility needs are individual for everyone, and we are here to help in any way we can. Whether you require a step-free entry, lever handles, shower chair, toilet surround frame, or any other specific need, we are happy to work with you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We want to ensure that everyone has a great holiday experience, and we are committed to making that happen.

Getting Around the Property

We offer secure parking directly in front of your unit, making it easy and convenient for you to park and access your accommodation. Entry to the property is from the Esplanade, and exit is through our back gate to Myer St. The back gate is electric and can be opened via a keypad. If you require a push-button remote for the back gate, please let us know in advance.

Property Accessibility

Our property is concreted and free from cracks and obstacles, providing a safe and smooth surface for all guests, including those with mobility issues. We also have a step-free communal grassed area and paved BBQ area with picnic tables, BBQ, Gas Stovetop, and Fridge/Freezer, which are accessible to all guests.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome Assistance Dogs at Beachcomber Holiday Units, and we request that we are notified prior to arrival. To ensure that our property remains safe and comfortable for all our guests, we require documentation showing that the Assistance Dog is qualified, accredited and serving the person they are with. Your Assistance Dog will need to be wearing its jacket with branding from the organisation it qualified with.

Specific Needs

If you have any specific needs, please don't hesitate to contact us with your requirements. We are happy to assist you in any way we can to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. Additionally, we can recommend Bairnsdale Mobility Hire for any extra equipment you may require during your stay.
